Dr Vimbayinesu Timba

Dr Vimbayinesu Timba is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to individuals and families. As a long-term local of the Newcastle region, she is deeply connected to the community she serves. Dr Timba completed her medical education at the University of Newcastle, where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Following her graduation, she gained valuable clinical experience working within regional health services before pursuing advanced training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She subsequently transitioned into General Practice, successfully completing her specialist training in 2019. Dr Timba is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

While Dr Timba enjoys the diverse nature of General Practice, she has developed particular clinical interests in women's health, sexual health, and children's health.
