Dr. Vikram Padhye

Dr. Vikram Padhye is a highly accomplished and dedicated Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon and Otolaryngologist who provides comprehensive care for both adult and paediatric patients. Based in South Australia, he specialises in the management of snoring, sleep apnoea, and complex nasal and sinus disorders. Dr. Padhye is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, combining advanced surgical techniques with a reassuring and professional approach to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr. Padhye completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2008. Demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence and clinical research, he later earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in surgery from the same institution, receiving a commendation for thesis excellence and the prestigious RP Jepson Medal from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. Dr. Padhye is also one of the few surgeons to have completed dual international fellowship training. This includes advanced training in sinus, anterior skull base, and head and neck surgery at the University of Toronto in Canada, followed by a prestigious sleep apnoea surgery fellowship at Stanford University in the United States, where he was the first Australian recipient of the Marjorie Hooper Scholarship.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Padhye addresses the full spectrum of Ear, Nose and Throat conditions. He has a particular interest in sleep surgery and advanced sinus procedures, offering innovative treatments such as implantable neurostimulation therapy (hypoglossal nerve stimulation) for obstructive sleep apnoea, as well as maxillomandibular advancement.
