Dr Victoria Howell

Dr Victoria Howell is a dedicated and highly compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care to the community of Armidale, Australia. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Howell focuses on delivering reassuring, high-quality medical care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. She is deeply committed to promoting long-term health and well-being, ensuring that her patients feel supported and heard throughout their healthcare journey.

In her clinical practice, Dr Howell has a diverse range of medical interests, with a particular focus on family medicine and preventative care. Her areas of clinical interest include women's health, sexual health, mental health, and child health, including immunisations. She is passionate about preventative medicine, conducting thorough health assessments to help patients manage chronic conditions and maintain optimal health. Her broad expertise allows her to address a wide array of medical concerns for patients of all ages.

Dr Howell completed her Bachelor of Medicine with Honours at the University of Newcastle. To further her expertise in children's health, she obtained a Diploma in Paediatrics from the University of New South Wales. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Alongside her clinical work, Dr Howell is actively involved in medical education and leadership. She serves as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Rural Medicine at the University of New England, where she provides clinical teaching and placements for medical students. Additionally, she contributes to the broader medical community as the Chair of the New England Division of General Practice.
