Dr Victor Yan

Dr Victor Yan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a particular passion for preventative healthcare and establishing strong, long-term relationships with his patients. His reassuring and professional approach ensures that individuals and families receive personalised care tailored to their unique health needs.

Dr Yan graduated with his medical degree from the University of New England in 2013. Following his graduation, he gained extensive clinical experience working as a Medical Registrar at several major hospitals before commencing his specialised General Practice Training in 2017. He achieved fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018, obtaining the prestigious title of Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

In addition to his core general practice work, Dr Yan holds several specialised roles that reflect his broad clinical expertise. He serves as a GP Supervisor, mentoring and training GP registrars and medical students, and works as an Urgent Care Doctor. He is also accredited to provide Antenatal Shared Care. Dr Yan has a strong interest in occupational medicine, which includes managing workplace and motor vehicle injuries, conducting pre-employment screenings, and performing specialised assessments. He is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, an Authorised Health Professional for rail safety assessments, and an accredited Medical Review Officer for corporate clients.
