Dr Victor Wei

Dr Victor Wei is a compassionate and dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. He is known for his non-judgemental approach, particularly when working with patients from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Dr Wei believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, integrating pharmacological, psychological, and lifestyle strategies to support his patients' overall well-being. Having personal experience with illness and recovery, he possesses a deep, empathetic understanding of the patient journey, which informs his reassuring and supportive clinical practice.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Wei has developed a broad range of clinical interests. He has a strong focus on a trauma-informed approach to mental health and addiction treatment, offering dedicated support for mood disorders, substance addictions, and process addictions. His expertise also spans chronic disease management, preventative health, and paediatrics. Additionally, Dr Wei is experienced in managing musculoskeletal and sports injuries, occupational health, men's health, and the management of long-COVID. He is also an authorised prescriber of medicinal cannabis for various eligible conditions.

Dr Wei completed his medical education at the University of Western Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2011. Following his graduation, he gained extensive clinical experience working across various hospital departments, including emergency medicine, gastroenterology, neurology, renal medicine, and paediatrics. In 2017, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice care.
