Dr Victor Shawpan

Dr Victor Shawpan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Born and raised in Sydney, he initially relocated to regional and rural New South Wales to complete his medical training and gain diverse clinical experience. Now returned to Sydney's North Shore and Northern Beaches, Dr Shawpan is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to individuals and families, ensuring that every patient receives personalised and reassuring medical attention.

Dr Shawpan completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2004. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, he went on to achieve his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2010. To further enhance his clinical capabilities, he has also undertaken postgraduate training and extra study in specialised areas, including psychiatry, mental health, asthma, and allergies.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Shawpan has developed a broad range of clinical interests and procedural skills. He has a particular interest in skin medicine, including eczema management, and is highly skilled in performing skin cancer checks, biopsies, and excisions. His procedural expertise also extends to minor surgical interventions, such as toenail removal and resection, as well as detailed ear assessments and micro-suction ear care. Additionally, Dr Shawpan is passionate about managing chronic conditions like asthma, supporting patients with mental health concerns, and providing dedicated aged care.
