Dr Vasuthan Sellathurai is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families. Dr Sellathurai completed his medical education in Sri Lanka, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Demonstrating his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of primary care, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2008. He is an active member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, continuously updating his clinical knowledge to provide evidence-based treatments.

Throughout his career, Dr Sellathurai has gained valuable experience working in major metropolitan emergency departments and hospitals, which has refined his skills in acute care and general medicine. He has developed a strong clinical interest in dermatology and skin cancer medicine, offering thorough skin checks and performing minor surgical procedures such as the removal of skin lesions and laceration repairs. Additionally, he is highly skilled in chronic disease management, particularly diabetes, as well as mental health, women's health, paediatrics, and geriatric medicine. His specialised training also qualifies him to conduct aviation and diving medical examinations, serving as an Aviation Medical Officer and Diving Medical Officer.
