Dr Tore Eivers

Dr Tore Eivers is a highly dedicated Specialist General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad scope of practice, he is committed to delivering safe, effective, and holistic healthcare to individuals and families. While he enjoys all aspects of family medicine, Dr Eivers has developed a significant clinical focus on the non-surgical management of spinal pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Dr Eivers obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland in 1996. He subsequently travelled to the United Kingdom, where he completed his postgraduate General Practice training and earned membership in the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). Committed to advancing his clinical expertise, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine from the University of Otago in 2016. Dr Eivers is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and actively contributes to the medical community as a Tutor for the Australian Association of Musculoskeletal Medicine (AAMM) certificate course modules.

Throughout his career, Dr Eivers has gained extensive experience in managing complex musculoskeletal complaints, including osteoarthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, and joint pain. He has previously worked as a General Practitioner with a Special Interest in spinal clinics, where he refined his skills in assessing and treating spinal disorders. Dr Eivers offers a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilisations, and exercise therapy. He is also highly skilled in performing ultrasound-guided joint and soft tissue injections, such as steroid therapies, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, perineural injection therapy, and prolotherapy, helping patients achieve optimal physical function and pain relief.
