Dr. Toan Pham

Dr. Toan Pham is a highly qualified Colorectal Surgeon with a strong focus on minimally invasive surgical techniques, including keyhole and robotic surgeries, for both colorectal and general surgical conditions. His expertise also extends to endoscopy.

Currently, Dr. Pham holds prestigious appointments as a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon at Northern Health, Mercy Health, and Epworth Healthcare. He is also a Clinical Fellow at the University of Melbourne, where he contributes to medical education and research.

Dr. Pham's academic journey began with a medical degree from the University of Melbourne, followed by a Fellowship in General Surgery conferred by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He furthered his academic pursuits with a PhD at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre/University of Melbourne, specialising in colorectal cancer immunotherapy and cancer vaccine research. Dr. Pham completed advanced training in colorectal surgery through the Australia and New Zealand Training Board in Colon and Rectal Surgery (ANZTBCRS), including intensive subspecialty training at Eastern Health (VIC) and Prince of Wales Hospital (NSW).

Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Pham enjoys spending quality time with his family, travelling, and playing tennis. He is dedicated to advancing surgical techniques and improving patient outcomes.
