About Dr Tim Whitehead

Dr Tim Whitehead is an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Their focus is on knee surgery, with a special interest in sporting injuries, osteoarthritis management as well as complex knee procedures. Dr Whitehead's practice caters for a wide variety of people.

Dr Whitehead became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2003. They then completed two orthopaedic knee and sports medicine fellowships in Canada. In 2008 Dr Whitehead was awarded a travelling fellowship where they visited and lectured at orthopaedic centres around Europe.

Dr Whitehead is heavily involved in research. Their current research projects include a study into the long-term outcomes of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Dr Whitehead is active at a local, regional and international level and holds positions within several groups and societies.
