Dr Timothy Copland

Dr Timothy Copland is a dedicated General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to patients of all ages. He believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on disease prevention, wellness enhancement, and building strong, collaborative relationships with his patients. Dr Copland enjoys all aspects of General Practice, offering comprehensive medical support tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

With a diverse range of clinical interests, Dr Copland has particular expertise in sports injury management and musculoskeletal medicine. He is also highly experienced in delivering comprehensive paediatric care, which includes routine childhood check-ups and the management of common childhood illnesses. Additionally, Dr Copland maintains an active role as a Surgical Assistant, supporting patients undergoing upper and lower limb orthopaedic surgery. This dual experience provides him with deep insights into pre- and post-operative care, allowing him to guide his patients smoothly through their surgical journeys.

Dr Copland completed his medical training at the University of Queensland, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Committed to the future of medicine, Dr Copland also serves as an RACGP Supervisor and Educator, dedicating his time to training and mentoring the next generation of specialist General Practice Doctors.
