Dr Thomas Manolitsas

Dr Thomas Manolitsas is an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Specialist.

Dr Manolitsas completed their primary medical degree at Monash University in Melbourne. Following this, they undertook postgraduate studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, training at both Mercy Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. Dr Manolitsas then travelled to the UK for a further four years, training at Princess Anne Hospital in Southampton. During their time in the UK, Dr Manolitsas also undertook scientific research in the field of molecular genetics of a tumour suppressor gene in ovarian cancer. This work led to the award of a Doctorate of Medicine and resulted in a number of papers published in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Manolitsas is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in London.
