Dr Therese Wales

Dr Therese Wales is a highly experienced General Practitioner who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong belief in holistic medicine, she focuses on treating the entire person rather than just addressing isolated symptoms. Dr Wales is passionate about building a warm rapport with her patients, ensuring she fully understands their unique healthcare needs and supports them on their journey towards optimal well-being.

Dr Wales completed her medical training at the University of Sydney, graduating with a first-class Honours Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Demonstrating a broad interest in human health and behaviour, she also holds an Honours Degree in Psychology from the Australian National University (ANU). To further expand her clinical expertise, she undertook postgraduate studies in both Paediatrics and Geriatrics in the United Kingdom. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, having achieved her Fellowship with Honours (FRACGP (Hons)).

In her daily practice, Dr Wales enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has a particular interest in chronic disease management, mental health, and preventative medicine, actively encouraging her patients to adopt healthy physical and mental habits.
