Dr Therese Roberts

Dr Therese Roberts is a dedicated and highly compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. Known warmly to many of her patients as Tessa, she has spent decades supporting multiple generations of families, delivering personalised and holistic healthcare. Dr Roberts values the diverse nature of General Practice, which allows her to build long-term relationships with her patients while addressing a wide array of medical needs.

Dr Roberts completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales, graduating in 1986. Demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous professional development, she went on to complete a Master of Mental Health (GP) at the New South Wales Institute of Psychiatry in 2008, becoming the first General Practitioner to achieve this qualification. She is a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner and has also served as an accredited Education Activity Representative with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, contributing significantly to the development and delivery of postgraduate mental health education for fellow medical practitioners.

With a broad range of clinical expertise, Dr Roberts maintains a particular interest in mental health assessment and treatment. She is deeply passionate about preventative care, chronic disease management, paediatrics, and women's health. Her patient-centred approach ensures that individuals receive tailored support, whether they require routine health assessments, immunisations, or ongoing management for complex, long-term health conditions.
