Dr Theo Partsalis

Dr. Theo Partsalis is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon who provides onsite consulting and regular surgeries at Peninsula Private Hospital. Specialising in the assessment and management of orthopaedic issues. Dr. Partsalis has a particular focus on disorders of the hip and knee.

A graduate of Monash University in Melbourne, he completed his orthopaedic surgical training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) Victorian and Tasmanian training program, receiving his fellowship in 2011. Dr. Partsalis then spent 18 months overseas, during which he undertook a 12-month lower limb arthroplasty fellowship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Here, he gained extensive experience in hip and knee replacement surgery, particularly knee replacement revision surgery. His time abroad also included attending multiple conferences, observerships, and training courses, as well as volunteering in Erbil, Iraq, and visiting the Artro arthroplasty group in Annecy, France.
