Dr. Susan Robertson

Dr. Susan Robertson is a highly regarded Consultant Dermatologist who provides comprehensive care in both adult and paediatric dermatology. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, she is dedicated to diagnosing and managing a wide range of general dermatological conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, and acne. Dr. Robertson is also a Medicare-approved injector of muscle relaxant treatments for patients experiencing severe primary hyperhidrosis, which is characterised by excessive sweating. Her clinical expertise extends to skin cancer diagnosis and management, as well as laser and dermatologic surgery.

In addition to her general practice, Dr. Robertson has a strong sub-specialty interest in paediatric dermatology, genetic skin diseases, and the management of birthmarks and haemangiomas. She holds public appointments as a Consultant Dermatologist at several major tertiary paediatric and adult hospitals. Passionate about advancing her field, she is actively involved in clinical research and medical education, serving as a Clinical Supervisor for dermatology trainees and holding an academic appointment as an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at a leading medical school.

Dr. Robertson graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Melbourne, where she also completed her specialist training in dermatology. She obtained her qualification as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2011. To further her expertise, she undertook postdoctoral training in the United Kingdom, completing a prestigious fellowship in paediatric dermatology and genetic skin diseases based at renowned international paediatric and dermatological institutions in London. She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her academic excellence has been recognised with notable awards, including the Roche Travelling Fellowship and the FC Florance Bequest Fellowship.
