Dr Susan Austin

Dr Susan Austin is a highly dedicated General Practitioner and Cosmetic Physician who provides comprehensive care with a focus on skin health and aesthetic medicine. With a career spanning several decades, she has developed a deep expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of skin conditions, as well as performing advanced non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Dr Austin is committed to delivering personalised, reassuring care that helps patients achieve both optimal health and confidence in their appearance.

Dr Austin completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales, graduating in 1982. Demonstrating a strong passion for dermatology, she went on to earn a Diploma of Practical Dermatology with Honours from the University of Wales in 1999. Her extensive postgraduate training includes a Diploma of Dermatoscopy, a Diploma from the American Board of Laser Surgery, and multiple certifications in skin cancer medicine and advanced skin cancer surgery. She is a Fellow of the Faculty of Medicine of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery, a Fellow of The Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia, and a member of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia.

In her clinical practice, Dr Austin focuses on the thorough assessment and management of skin cancers, utilising dermatoscopic diagnosis and performing minor surgical procedures on-site. She is equally passionate about treating chronic skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema, dermatitis, alopecia, and psoriasis. Additionally, she offers a diverse range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments, including dermal fillers, muscle relaxants, chemical peels, broadband light procedures, and scar treatments.
