Dr Sunny Chen

Dr Sunny Chen is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare. Known for her respectful, empathetic, and patient-centred approach, she strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and supported. Dr Chen is particularly passionate about sexual and reproductive health, believing strongly in the importance of empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their own well-being.

In her clinical practice, Dr Chen focuses on a wide range of general medicine services with a strong emphasis on women's health. She provides expert consultations on contraception options, intrauterine device (IUD) assessments, period problems, and menopause management. Her clinical interests also extend to the management of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), cervical screening self-tests, medical terminations, and the treatment of bacterial vaginosis (BV) and chlamydia partner treatment.

Dr Chen completed her medical education at the University of Newcastle, New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2009. To further her expertise, she undertook postgraduate training and obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2015.
