Dr Sunny Randhawa

Dr. Sunny Randhawa is a highly skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in complex hip and knee arthroplasty and orthopaedic trauma, with advanced expertise in hip arthroscopy and anterior hip replacement. Originally from Canberra, Dr. Randhawa began his medical journey at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Upon completion, he returned to Canberra to begin his junior medical career before advancing through the NSW Orthopaedic Training Scheme, with rotations in Newcastle, Gosford, and rural posts including Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour. His experience in Sydney spans renowned institutions like Concord, Royal Prince Alfred, and Liverpool hospitals, where he gained extensive training in orthopaedic trauma at John Hunter and Liverpool Hospitals, the two busiest trauma centres in NSW.

Dr. Randhawa holds the FRACS (Orth) and has completed specialised fellowship training at St. Vincent’s Hospitals in Sydney, focusing on complex hip and knee surgeries and orthopaedic trauma. His pursuit of excellence continued with a fellowship in Melbourne under A/Prof John O’Donnell, President of the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy, where Dr. Randhawa mastered hip arthroscopy and anterior hip replacement. His expertise extends to treating sports hip conditions, including femoro-acetabular impingement, ligamentum teres injuries, labral tears, gluteal tendinopathy, and hip replacement using minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Randhawa currently practises at the San Clinic in Wahroonga and Norwest Private Hospital in Bella Vista, with appointments at Sydney Adventist Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital, and St. Luke’s Hospital.
