Dr Stuart Robinson

Dr Stuart Robinson is a highly qualified Psychiatrist who dedicatedly supports patients navigating complex mental health challenges. With a clinical focus that spans both general adult mental health and older persons psychiatry, he provides comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to individual needs. Dr Robinson is committed to helping patients manage a wide range of conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He also possesses specialised expertise in conducting cognitive impairment and capacity assessments, ensuring that older patients receive the targeted support they require.

Dr Robinson earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) from the Leicester-Warwick Medical School in the United Kingdom in 2006. Following his graduation, he completed his junior medical rotations in the East Midlands before relocating to Australia in 2010. He then undertook rigorous specialist training in Southeast Queensland, completing advanced training posts in the Psychiatry of Old Age. In 2017, Dr Robinson achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), qualifying him as a specialist Consultant Psychiatrist.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Robinson is actively involved in medical education and professional development. He serves as an honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland, where he assists in the training and assessment of medical students. Throughout his career, he has practised extensively across both adult and older persons mental health services, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a reassuring, patient-centred approach to his clinical work.
