Dr Stuart McEachen

Dr Stuart McEachen is a highly qualified Dentist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Oral Medicine Specialist, and Oral Pathologist. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care for a wide range of conditions affecting the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr McEachen focuses on delivering precise diagnoses and tailored treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes and comfort.

Dr McEachen completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science in 1989, followed by a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours in 1999, both from The University of Queensland. To further refine his expertise, he undertook extensive Specialist training across Australia, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. He holds numerous advanced qualifications, including a Master of Public Health, a Master of Medical Science, a Graduate Certificate in Education, and a Master of Surgery in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery. Additionally, he has earned a Diploma in Odontology in Oral Pathology and is a Member of Oral Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He is also an Associate Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.

As one of the few Specialists with comprehensive medical, dental, and surgical training, Dr McEachen offers a unique and holistic perspective on oral health. His clinical services encompass dentoalveolar surgery, including the removal of wisdom teeth and other minor oral procedures. He is highly skilled in managing benign conditions such as cysts and benign tumours, as well as diseases affecting the jaws, salivary glands, and oral cavity. Dr McEachen also specialises in treating complex oral medicine conditions, including lichen planus and burning mouth syndrome, providing relief and expert management for patients experiencing chronic oral discomfort.
