Dr Stuart Angus Ross

Dr Stuart Ross is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to the local community. With a deep-rooted passion for rural medicine, Dr Ross is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare that supports the long-term well-being of his patients. As a versatile General Practitioner, he combines his extensive knowledge of family medicine with advanced clinical skills to offer a reassuring and holistic approach to healthcare.

Dr Ross completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Adelaide before undertaking his medical training at Flinders University, graduating in 2009. He went on to complete his specialist General Practice training in 2014. To further expand his clinical capabilities and support regional healthcare needs, Dr Ross undertook an additional twelve months of dedicated Anaesthetic training at a major metropolitan hospital in 2015. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

In addition to his core role as a General Practitioner, Dr Ross is a skilled GP Anaesthetist, providing vital anaesthetic services at local regional hospitals. He also contributes actively to local emergency medicine services, ensuring critical care is available when patients need it most. Dr Ross is a certified prescriber of HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), reflecting his commitment to preventative health and inclusive care. Passionate about the future of the medical profession, he also dedicates his time to teaching and supervising Medical Students and GP Registrars, helping to mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals.
