Dr Stephanie Arasu

Dr Stephanie Arasu is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a professional background spanning both Ireland and Australia, she strongly believes that General Practice and primary care are the cornerstones of holistic physical and psychosocial well-being. Dr Arasu adopts a kind and reassuring approach, taking the time to understand what is most important to her patients to help them achieve their optimal quality of life.

Dr Arasu graduated with honours from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2008, obtaining her medical degrees. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Committed to continuous professional development, she also holds a Diploma in Child Health and has completed a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine.

Prior to specialising in General Practice, Dr Arasu gained valuable clinical experience working in intensive care and paediatric critical care units across various Australian hospitals. Her diverse background has equipped her with a deep understanding of acute medicine, which she applies to her daily practice. She has a particular interest in Paediatrics, Palliative Care, and Aged Care, having spent significant time managing chronic health conditions and supporting older patients in both rural and metropolitan settings. Additionally, she is skilled in performing minor skin surgeries, biopsies, and the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants.
