Dr Sophie MacNeil

Dr Sophie MacNeil is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare. With a warm and reassuring clinical approach, she is committed to supporting patients through all stages of life. Dr MacNeil values the diverse nature of family medicine, delivering personalised care that focuses on long-term health outcomes and preventative wellness.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of general medicine, with a particular focus on women's and children's health. Dr MacNeil has extensive expertise in paediatric and adolescent health, as well as comprehensive reproductive healthcare. She provides expert guidance in pre-pregnancy planning, antenatal and postnatal care, breastfeeding support, and menopause management. Additionally, she is highly skilled in gynaecology, preventative care, and seniors' health, ensuring that every patient receives tailored, evidence-based treatment.

Dr MacNeil completed her medical education at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (MBBS (Hons)) in 1991. Following her graduation, she undertook extensive postgraduate training in both metropolitan and rural settings. She holds a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
