Dr Sofia Ambreen

Dr Sofia Ambreen is a compassionate and highly skilled General Practitioner who is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care. In her clinical practice, Dr Ambreen offers a broad range of specialised medical services. She has a strong interest in paediatric and children's health, which includes managing child immunisations. She is also highly proficient in sexual and reproductive healthcare, providing specialised procedures such as the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs). Furthermore, as an accredited practitioner in skin cancer medicine, she regularly performs comprehensive skin checks and surgical excisions to assist in the early detection and management of skin cancers.

Dr Ambreen commenced her medical career in Pakistan, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of the Punjab in 2001. She then relocated to England, where she spent several years advancing her clinical training and obtaining multiple postgraduate qualifications. These include a Diploma in Child Health (DCH, UK), a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG, UK), and a Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFRSH, UK). After moving to Australia, she continued to expand her expertise, earning a Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine from the Skin Cancer College Australasia. Dr Ambreen is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP, UK).
