Dr Sneha Kaushal

Dr Sneha Kaushal is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare to her patients. With a strong focus on primary prevention and lifestyle medicine, she works collaboratively with individuals to develop individualised treatment plans that support long-term health and well-being. Her reassuring and professional approach ensures that patients of all ages feel supported and heard throughout their medical journey.

Throughout her career, Dr Kaushal has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular passion for women's health and mental health. She is highly skilled in providing antenatal shared care, supporting expectant mothers through pregnancy and into postnatal care. Her clinical expertise also extends to performing specialised procedures, including the insertion and removal of intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants. Additionally, she is experienced in managing chronic diseases, conducting skin cancer checks, performing minor skin procedures, and addressing travel medicine, sexual health, and musculoskeletal concerns.

Dr Kaushal completed her undergraduate medical degree, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from James Cook University. Demonstrating an early commitment to maternal and reproductive health, she was awarded a certificate of excellence in women's health by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) in 2010. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). To further her clinical knowledge, she has undertaken advanced surgical anatomy courses and attended numerous national and international oncology conferences. Her professional background also includes working across various public and private hospitals in New South Wales and Queensland, including dedicated cancer care facilities, as well as holding an academic title as an Associate Lecturer where she was involved in training and examining medical students and junior doctors.
