Dr Siva Vasanthan is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals and families. With a broad clinical background spanning general medicine, emergency care, occupational health, and skin cancer medicine, he is committed to delivering thorough and reassuring medical support. Dr Vasanthan focuses on understanding each patient's unique health journey, offering clear explanations and practical treatment plans to support long-term health and well-being.

In his daily practice, Dr Vasanthan manages a wide range of primary healthcare needs, from preventative health interventions and chronic disease management to the treatment of acute illnesses. He has a particular interest in skin cancer medicine, offering detailed full-body skin checks and dermoscopy to monitor sun damage and detect suspicious lesions early. His clinical expertise also extends to performing minor surgical procedures, including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, curettage, and lesion excisions, ensuring patients receive precise and high-quality care.

Dr Vasanthan obtained his medical degree (Cand.Med.) from the University of Bergen in 1991. To further his clinical expertise, he completed postgraduate training in Occupational Medicine and Emergency Medicine through the University of Auckland, and has undertaken advanced postgraduate studies in Skin Cancer Medicine at the University of Queensland. He holds professional fellowships as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of General Practice.
