Dr Simone Williamson

Dr Simone Williamson is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families in Charlestown, Australia. Dr Williamson completed her medical training at the University of Newcastle, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine with Honours in 2001. Prior to her medical degree, she earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation Technology (therapy) with Distinction in 1994, following a Diploma of Applied Science in Medical Radiation Technology (therapy) in 1991, both from the University of Sydney's Cumberland College. She achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2006. Committed to continuous professional development, she has obtained several specialised certifications, including a Family Planning Association Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health, an Intrauterine Device Insertion Certificate, and an Implanon Insertion Certificate. She is also accredited in Focused Psychological Strategies Skills Training and Mental Health Skills Training through the General Practice Mental Health Standards Collaboration.
