Dr Siew Chong

Dr Siew Chong is a highly dedicated General Practitioner and Consultant Physician who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a clinical approach grounded in empathy and thoroughness, she focuses on delivering holistic healthcare that addresses the diverse needs of her patients. Dr Chong believes in the value of active listening, ensuring that each individual receives a personalised management plan tailored to their specific health goals and well-being.

Her extensive clinical expertise spans both General Practice and complex internal medicine, with a particular interest in renal health and general medical conditions. Dr Chong is adept at managing chronic diseases, including hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and diabetic nephropathy, as well as addressing acute medical concerns. Her training allows her to seamlessly coordinate care for patients with multi-system disorders, ensuring they receive well-rounded support for complex health issues.

Dr Chong completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2000. She subsequently gained valuable international experience practising medicine in Malaysia, where she completed the United Kingdom specialist entry examinations to become a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2006. Upon returning to Australia, she undertook advanced specialist training in Western Australia, successfully completing dual training programmes in General Medicine and Nephrology in 2014. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), reflecting her high standards of clinical excellence and dedication to ongoing professional development.
