Dr Tong completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1988. To further his professional development and maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence, he achieved fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, holding the title of Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
