Dr Shuo Zhao

Dr Shuo Zhao is a General Practitioner with a broad clinical focus spanning preventive health, sexual health, dermatology, men’s health, paediatrics, and women’s health, including antenatal shared care.

Dr Zhao completed a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) at the University of New South Wales in 2009 and has since developed a diverse general practice portfolio with an emphasis on holistic, preventive, and family-centred care.

His clinical work includes the assessment and management of skin conditions and skin cancer checks, minor skin procedures such as lesion excisions, and routine dermatological care. He also provides travel medicine consultations, immunisations, and contraceptive services including Implanon insertion and removal.

In addition to general practice, Dr Zhao has a strong interest in sexual and reproductive health, men’s health, sports medicine, and paediatric care. He also participates in GP Antenatal Shared Care, supporting pregnancy monitoring in collaboration with specialist maternity services.

His approach to medicine is centred on preventive healthcare and continuity of care, with a focus on supporting patients across all stages of life, from childhood through to adulthood.
