Professor Shomik Sengupta

Professor Shomik Sengupta is a Urologist with a subspecialty interest in urologic oncology. Professor Sengupta has a strong academic background and is involved in numerous clinical trials.

Professor Sengupta trained under the Victorian section of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand. They subsequently undertook a two-year uro-oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, USA.

Professor Sengupta has a strong interest in research and has completed two higher degrees by research. They have authored more than 100 international publications.

Professor Sengupta is passionate about teaching and holds the position of Professor of Surgery at the Eastern Health Clinical School, Monash University.
