Dr Shivram Nadkarni

Dr Shivram Nadkarni is a highly experienced Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon who provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. He specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ocular conditions, with a particular focus on restoring and preserving vision. Throughout his career, Dr Nadkarni has performed thousands of successful procedures, establishing a reputation for delivering personalised, high-quality clinical care. His clinical expertise spans complex surgical interventions as well as preventative treatments designed to manage progressive eye diseases.

Dr Nadkarni completed his undergraduate medical studies and postgraduate training in Ophthalmology at the University of Mumbai. He is recognised as an Ophthalmologist by the National Board in New Delhi and has undertaken extensive advanced training in cataract, squint, paediatric ophthalmology, and medical retina. This training was completed at several world-renowned institutions, including the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, the LV Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute in San Francisco, the Singapore National Eye Centre, the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, and the Women's and Children's Hospital in Adelaide. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and holds memberships with the Australian Society of Ophthalmology, the All India Ophthalmological Society, the Squint and Paediatric Ophthalmology Society of India, and the World Society of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.

In his clinical practice, Dr Nadkarni offers specialised treatments for cataracts, strabismus, pterygium, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy, utilising both advanced surgical techniques and laser therapies. He is also highly skilled in performing eyelid and tear duct surgeries. Beyond his clinical work, Dr Nadkarni is deeply committed to medical education.
