Dr Ji (Jim) Li

Dr. Ji (Jim) Li is a highly trained general ophthalmologist who treats a broad range of ocular conditions, including cataract, glaucoma and retinal diseases, as well as paediatric eye disorders and squint. He completed his medical degree with Honours at the University of Sydney and furthered his education with a Master of Medicine in Ophthalmic Sciences. Dr. Li undertook his ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital, where he developed comprehensive skills in both paediatric and general ophthalmology.

He further refined his expertise with 12 months of training as a senior at Westmead Children’s Hospital, working alongside internationally renowned paediatric ophthalmologists, followed by another 12 months as a senior at Royal North Shore Hospital, managing complex adult and paediatric eye conditions. Dr. Li has published research in distinguished peer-reviewed journals and presented his findings at national and international conferences. He is the proud recipient of several university scholarships, including the Geoff Hipwell Ophthalmology Award. Fluent in Mandarin as well as English, Dr. Li’s language skills enhance his ability to serve a diverse patient population.
