Central Serous Chorioretinopathy (CSC)
Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) is a condition where a blister of fluid develops underneath the centre of the retina (the nerve tissue lining the back of the eye). It typically occurs in young to middle-aged males but can occur in anyone. A major risk factor is steroids, which sometimes may have been prescribed by your doctor. In many cases CSC will resolve by itself, but if it doesnât then treatment with laser may be required.
