Dr Shibu Joseph

Dr Shibu Joseph is a highly dedicated Radiation Oncologist who provides comprehensive, evidence-based, and patient-centred care. Based in Wagga Wagga, he is committed to delivering compassionate support and tailored treatment plans for individuals navigating a cancer diagnosis. Dr Joseph works closely within multidisciplinary teams to ensure that each patient receives coordinated, holistic care that addresses their unique medical and personal needs.

Dr Joseph completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in India before pursuing extensive specialist oncology training across India, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. During his tenure in the United Kingdom, he completed advanced oncology training at several prominent institutions and became a Member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP) in 2005. He subsequently completed further specialist training in Hamilton, New Zealand, achieving fellowship status as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2016. Following this, he gained valuable international experience working as a Visiting Radiation Oncologist in the United Kingdom, where he focused on highly specialised areas of oncology.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Joseph accepts referrals for all cancer types. He maintains a strong focus on advanced treatment techniques, including the use of brachytherapy for gynaecological cancers and radiation therapy for benign conditions. Dr Joseph is also deeply committed to clinical research and trials, ensuring his patients have access to the latest advancements in cancer care.
