Dr Shelly Wang

Dr Shelly Wang is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality primary healthcare to patients of all ages and backgrounds. She takes a patient-centred approach, taking the time to engage with her patients on a personal level to ensure their care is thoroughly co-ordinated and individualised. Dr Wang is passionate about supporting families through every stage of life, offering a reassuring and professional presence in all aspects of family medicine.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Wang focuses particularly on women's and children's health, preventative medicine, and travel medicine. She is highly experienced in providing antenatal shared care, helping to guide expectant mothers through their pregnancy journeys. Her dedication to preventative health ensures that patients receive proactive guidance to maintain their long-term well-being, while her expertise in paediatric care allows her to support the health and development of infants and children.

Dr Wang completed her Bachelor of Medical Studies and Doctor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales in 2013. Following her graduation, she gained extensive clinical experience during her residency years at major metropolitan hospitals. She completed a Diploma in Child Health while training at a leading paediatric hospital and neonatal intensive care unit, and she also holds a Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health. Dr Wang is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is accredited as an Antenatal Shared Care Provider.
