Dr Shady Hegazy

Dr Shady Hegazy is a dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients of all ages. He is committed to delivering long-term, supportive, and non-judgemental healthcare, valuing the continuity and diversity that general practice offers. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Hegazy focuses on clear communication, practical problem-solving, and patient education to empower individuals in managing their health journeys.

With a strong foundation in orthopaedic surgical training, Dr Hegazy brings a high level of procedural precision to his practice. He has extensive experience in managing musculoskeletal injuries and performing complex skin procedures, including excisions, flaps, and advanced wound closures. His clinical interests span a wide range of family medicine, including general medicine, paediatrics, antenatal care, mental health, sexual health, and chronic disease management such as diabetes. He also has a particular focus on skin cancer medicine, including early detection, diagnosis, and surgical management.

Dr Hegazy holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). To further enhance his clinical capabilities, he has completed multiple accredited Australian skin cancer training programmes and is undertaking a Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery Principles. Outside of his medical practice, Dr Hegazy enjoys playing basketball and spending quality time with his family.
