Ms Seschelle Matterson

Ms Seschelle Maree Matterson is a registered psychologist with over 20 years of professional experience. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Queensland University and has devoted her career to delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychological care to individuals across the lifespan.

Seschelle is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours with confidence and care. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals, drawing on a range of evidence-based modalities to foster resilience, personal growth, and emotional wellbeing.

She has a particular passion for working with children, adolescents, and adults—supporting them to build coping strategies, strengthen social and communication skills, manage anxiety, and cultivate positive relationships.

As owner of Autism Australia’s Happy Holidays program, Seschelle provides individual sessions and small, nurturing group experiences for children and teens on the autism spectrum. These programs encourage teamwork, self-regulation, acceptance of others, and the development of lasting friendships. Guided by the Natural Integrative Therapeutic Model, she utilises nature-based venues across the Gold Coast to create calming, inspiring environments that promote connection and personal growth.
