Dr Sepideh Rouhi

Dr Sepideh Rouhi is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. With a strong belief in building trusting, long-term relationships, Dr Rouhi takes the time to listen, understand, and involve patients in their healthcare decisions. She approaches each consultation with empathy and respect, ensuring that care is tailored to each individual's unique needs, lifestyle, and health goals. Her commitment to preventative health and continuity of care allows her to support patients at every stage of life, from childhood through to older age.

Dr Rouhi graduated with her medical degree in 2004 and initially worked as a General Practitioner in Iran. She later relocated to the United Kingdom, where she completed her Master's degree in Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine at University College London in 2011, focusing specifically on breast cancer research. After moving to Australia, she continued her medical journey and obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017.

Throughout her career, Dr Rouhi has practised in various regions across Australia, including Queensland, Western Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria. Her diverse clinical background has fostered a strong passion for weight management and obesity medicine, which she views as a complex, chronic medical condition that often serves as the root cause of other chronic illnesses. To support her patients in this area, she has pursued specialised training in weight management both in Australia and internationally. In addition to weight management, Dr Rouhi has extensive experience in managing chronic diseases, endocrinology, women's and sexual health, mental health, and paediatrics.
