Dr Senthil Krishnamoorthy

Dr Senthil Krishnamoorthy is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a compassionate approach to medicine, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families throughout all stages of life. Her practice encompasses a broad range of general medicine, with a strong focus on delivering reassuring and high-quality healthcare to her local community.

Dr Krishnamoorthy completed her basic medical degree (MBBS) and a postgraduate degree in anaesthesia in South India before relocating to Australia. She undertook her specialist General Practice training in rural Australia, training locally in the Northern Rivers region. She successfully obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2007. In addition to her clinical qualifications, she holds an Essential Skills in Medical Education (ESME) certificate, reflecting her deep commitment to professional development and medical training.

Throughout her career, Dr Krishnamoorthy has developed key clinical interests in women's health, shared antenatal care, and paediatrics. She provides specialised services including the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants, as well as medical termination of pregnancy. Her dedication to holistic care extends to supporting older patients, regularly visiting local residential aged care facilities to ensure continuity of care. Alongside her clinical work, she is heavily involved in medical education, serving as a Senior Local Medical Educator and supervisor to guide the next generation of medical practitioners.
