Dr Sarah MacDonald

Dr Sarah MacDonald is a highly qualified General Practitioner who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred primary care. She has developed a strong clinical focus on skin cancer medicine, aesthetic medicine, and hair restoration treatments. Known for her thorough and reassuring approach, Dr MacDonald combines clinical excellence with attentive care to ensure optimal health outcomes for all her patients. Her practice is centred on preventative health, early detection, and precise clinical management.

Dr MacDonald completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Newcastle in 2011. Committed to advancing her clinical knowledge, she went on to earn a Master of Philosophy in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 2023. She achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017. Additionally, she holds advanced postgraduate certifications in practical dermoscopy and primary care skin cancer medicine and therapeutics. In 2024, she was awarded a Fellowship with the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. She is an active member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.

Beyond her local clinical practice, Dr MacDonald is deeply committed to global healthcare and has volunteered her medical expertise in Malawi, where she provided specialised skin cancer treatment to patients with albinism. This humanitarian work reflects her dedication to making essential healthcare accessible to vulnerable populations. Outside of her professional life, she maintains an active lifestyle through cycling and hiking, and enjoys spending time with her family, including her son and her two French bulldogs.
