Dr Sarah-Beth Magambo

Dr Sarah-Beth Magambo is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner based in Wollongong, Australia. She is committed to providing thorough, comprehensive healthcare, working collaboratively with her patients to achieve the best possible health outcomes. Dr Magambo places a strong emphasis on fostering hope and believes that a reassuring, positive approach is essential to the healing process. Her practice is patient-centred, focusing on delivering high-quality, accessible care to individuals and families across all stages of life.

Dr Magambo completed her Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney in 2003, followed by her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the same institution, graduating in 2007. She subsequently obtained a Diploma in Child Health in 2011. After gaining valuable clinical experience working in regional and metropolitan hospitals, as well as internationally, she completed her specialist General Practice training. She has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2013. Additionally, she contributes to the medical community as a Senior Medical Educator, supporting the training and development of future General Practitioners.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Magambo provides comprehensive care across several key areas of medicine. She has a strong focus on women's health, including menopause management and contraceptive procedures such as implant insertions, as well as antenatal shared care. Her expertise also extends to paediatric care, preventive medicine, and mental health. Dr Magambo is particularly passionate about supporting patients with eating disorders through a weight-neutral, Health At Every Size (HAES) approach. Furthermore, she has undertaken advanced training to specialise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) across all age groups.
