Dr Sandra Skinner

Dr Sandra Skinner is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Throughout her clinical career, Dr Skinner has developed significant expertise in several key areas of medicine. She has a particular interest in mental health and neurodiversity, offering specialised support for conditions such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. In addition to her mental health work, she is highly skilled in women's health, providing guidance on perimenopause and menopause management. Dr Skinner also focuses on skin cancer medicine, performing thorough skin checks, managing skin ageing, and conducting minor surgical procedures such as the excision of skin cancers and benign lesions.

Dr Skinner completed her Bachelor of Science, majoring in physiology and pharmacology, before earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 2003. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2011, notably topping the state of Queensland in the fellowship clinical examinations and receiving the Maureen Duke and Marian Sullivan Memorial Award. Additionally, she is qualified to deliver Focussed Psychological Strategies. Dr Skinner maintains active professional memberships with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian ADHD Professionals Association, ensuring her clinical practice remains aligned with the latest medical advancements.
