Dr Sandra Hacker

Dr Sandra Hacker is a highly respected and dedicated Psychiatrist based in Prahran, Australia. With a career focused on providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care, Dr Hacker specialises in psychotherapy and the treatment of complex psychological trauma. She is particularly dedicated to supporting adult survivors of severe childhood sexual abuse and individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and depression. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to medicine and the community, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2005 and was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Medical Science by the University of Melbourne in 2012. She has also held prominent leadership roles within the Australian Medical Association (AMA), including serving as Victorian Branch President and National Vice President.
