Dr Sandhya Kariyawasam is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary healthcare. Dr Kariyawasam has extensive clinical experience across multiple healthcare systems, having worked as a clinician, academic, and researcher in Australia, Sri Lanka, and the United Kingdom. Dr Kariyawasam obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours (MBBS Hons) and subsequently earned a PhD in Pharmacology. Demonstrating her commitment to the highest standards of general practice, she achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). In addition to her primary medical qualifications, she is accredited to provide Focussed Psychological Strategies and psychotherapy under Medicare, and she is also fully accredited to provide Shared Antenatal Care.
