Dr Samina Kausar

Dr Samina Kausar is a highly qualified and dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides comprehensive, evidence-based care to women at all stages of life. With a clinical approach centred on compassion and patient empowerment, she is committed to educating her patients, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being. Her practice encompasses a broad range of women's health services, with a particular focus on delivering personalised and high-quality care.

As a Consultant in her field, Dr Kausar has a keen interest in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and aesthetic gynaecology. She is highly skilled in performing laparoscopic and open gynaecological procedures, as well as pelvic floor reconstruction surgeries and vaginal prolapse management. Additionally, she is well-versed in cervical cancer prevention strategies, including the management of abnormal cervical smears and the performance of colposcopies.

Dr Kausar completed her medical degree (MBBS) at Dow University of Health Sciences in Pakistan, where she also obtained her first postgraduate qualification, a Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FCPS). She later moved to the United Kingdom, qualifying as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), and subsequently attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). Dedicated to medical education, she also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from Edge Hill University in the United Kingdom. Dr Kausar is an active member of several professional bodies, including the American Association of Gynaecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES), and the Australian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM).
