Dr Samantha McClean

Dr Samantha McClean is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, person-centred care to patients and families. With a clinical approach focused on building trusted, long-term relationships, she works collaboratively with individuals to support both acute and ongoing health needs. Dr McClean is passionate about delivering evidence-based medical care that is tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient, ensuring they feel supported and reassured throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr McClean completed her medical training in the United Kingdom, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of London in 1998. After specialising and working as a General Practitioner in London, she relocated to Australia, where she went on to achieve Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Committed to expanding her clinical expertise, she has also obtained further postgraduate qualifications in Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Family Planning Medicine.

Throughout her career, Dr McClean has gained extensive experience across diverse healthcare settings, including working as a Rural Generalist in New South Wales and providing clinical care in Queensland. She has a longstanding passion for community Palliative Care and End-of-Life Services, focusing on culturally appropriate and responsive support for families. Her broad clinical interests also encompass Emergency Medicine, Women's Health, and Paediatric Care, allowing her to deliver holistic and versatile medical services to the community.
