Dr Saman Perera is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. In his clinical practice, Dr Perera has developed a diverse range of special interests. He is highly proficient in chronic disease management, with a particular focus on conditions such as diabetes, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, osteoporosis, and hepatitis C. Additionally, Dr Perera provides expert skin checkups and skin cancer treatments, alongside performing various minor procedures. These procedures include ingrown toenail management, therapeutic venesection, ear toilet, and the management of outer ear infections. He is also a registered provider of focused psychological strategies, offering essential mental health care, and assists patients with preventive health assessments and co-ordinated cancer care.

Dr Perera holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and has furthered his postgraduate training by obtaining a Diploma in Child Health (DCH).
