Dr Salman Ahmed

Dr Salman Ahmed is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. He has enjoyed a diverse and extensive medical career, working across various healthcare settings in both Pakistan and Australia. His broad clinical background equips him with the expertise to manage a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of primary healthcare.

Dr Ahmed completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan, graduating in 1998. Following his initial training and internship, he pursued further studies and obtained postgraduate qualifications in Ophthalmology in 2005. After relocating to Australia, he worked as a Registrar in Northwest New South Wales and went on to achieve his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018.

With a strong interest in minor surgical procedures, Dr Ahmed is highly proficient in performing skin cancer excisions, biopsies, and the removal of cysts, moles, and other skin lesions. His clinical focus also encompasses family medicine, men's health, sexual health, and chronic disease management. Additionally, he is skilled in performing wedge resections for ingrown toenails and the insertion and removal of Implanon contraceptive devices, offering a versatile range of treatments to support his patients' ongoing well-being.
